Welcome to WINGS, a two year, in depth program of studies in Christian spirituality for people who are discerning a call to serve as spiritual directors and desire preparation for that ministry. It is also for anyone who wishes to enhance her or his individual journeys and ministries.
WINGS provides an opportunity for deepening the spiritual journey by:
exploring classical and contemporary Christian Spirituality
discovering pathways of spiritual direction
discerning commitment to a Rule of Life and ways of living in the world today: in family life, the workplace, faith community, and civic life
Participants will have an opportunity to select from one of two tracks. The Spiritual Direction track is designed for people who believe they are called to serve as Spiritual Directors or who are already practicing Spiritual Direction. Those called to deepen their knowledge and experience of spirituality without necessarily feeling called to the specific ministry of Spiritual Direction may choose the Spiritual Studies track. Upon successful completion of the entire course. Participants will receive either a Certificate in Spiritual Direction or a Certificate in Spiritual Studies.
